Fremont, CA Networking Event to Focus on Modern CSS Frameworks

Hurricane Electric, the world's largest IPv6-native Internet backbone, today announced that its next Carrier Networking Event will feature speakers from the Foundation Team presenting on their CSS (News - Alert) frameworks. The Carrier Networking Event will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m. at its Fremont 2 Colocation Facility.

Co-sponsored by Silicon Valley Web Builder, the Carrier Networking Event is comprised of a cocktail hour for networking, exhibits by local carriers, and the featured discussion. Modern CSS Frameworks will be presented byBrandon Arnold, Foundation Lead, and Geoff Kimball, Product Designer for the Foundation Team.

The Foundation family consists of three open source responsive frameworks upon which its digital products are built. Platform-agnostic, flexible and minimal, Foundation's CSS frameworks have been created with the purpose of helping people design better products faster. At the event, Brandon Arnold and Geoff Kimball will examine each of these three frameworks: Foundation for Sites, Foundation for Apps, and Foundation for Email, as well as demonstrate practical examples of how each is used.

Hurricane Electric's (News - Alert) staff will be available to provide data center tours. The event is also an opportunity for attendees to network with carriers in Hurricane Electric's facility to discuss bandwidth and other telecommunications needs.

"Hurricane Electric is pleased to welcome Foundation to speak at Fremont 2 and participate in our Carrier Networking Event," said Mike Leber, President of Hurricane Electric. "Among a strong line-up of presentations, Modern CSS Frameworks stands out among topics discussed at our Carrier Networking Events for its immediate interest and applicability for the surrounding community of Internet professionals. We're excited to welcome all those who are interested for this promising presentation."

The event is free to attend. Those who would like additional information or to RSVP can email Adam Waitkunas.
