Seamless Distribution AB: SEQR to Be Launched in the US This Summer

Seamless Distribution (STO:SEAM):

SEQR (mobile payment service provided by Seamless) has been quickly rolling out across European markets, further strengthening its position as a Global Leader in the Mobile Payment space. Now the business is gearing up for its highly anticipated US launch later this summer.

The SEQR team has been working to strategically align itself with partners for their US operations who will either help the business reach Retailers and Users or provide value added services. The company now confirms that several partnerships have now been executed, further strengthening SEQR's operations in US market. Today's partnership infrastructure enables the company to launch services such as Pay@Cashier, Shop on Spot, Bill Pay, and E-Commerce payments.

Last fall they signed a global agreement with InComm (News - Alert), the industry leading marketer, distributor and technology innovator of stored-value gift and prepaid products, and now the company is announcing partnerships with eThor, eTouchMenu, Paynata and Humm Systems which integrates SEQR into their systems, enabling SEQR Merchants to quickly start accepting SEQR, and offering their customers a more secure way to Pay. There are more partnerships currently being structured as the company continues to strategically work to penetrate the market.

- To succeed you have to collaborate with the best. That has been our premise when looking for partners to help us in the roll out on the US market. With our collaborations we have the best opportunities in the business to quickly reach a great consumer basis. Through our partnership with Newtek Business Service we are the only company that can offer direct payments from bank accounts no matter what bank used, using ACH, says Peter Fredell, CEO of Seamless.

Together with their partners the SEQR team is currently working to activate retailers, and the first stores will go live with SEQR this summer.

- SEQR has received a warm welcome here in the US, because of its value propositions for both the merchants and consumers. Having seasoned market industry personnel on staff has also been key to actively cultivating our partnerships and together we have developed the services to fit the local market, says Kenneth Douglas SVP Business and Partnership Development for SEQR in the US.

The partners that SEQR is currently working with for the roll out in the US are eThor, eTouchMenu, FMS, Humm Systems, InComm, Newtek Business Service, and Paynata.
