Apps World event series successfully launches inaugural Germany show in BerlinWith over 150 exhibitors, Apps World Germany landed last week at the CityCube, Berlin for its inaugural Germany show. Featuring two days of top level content delivered by more than 200 speakers including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (News - Alert), networking opportunities and two live hackathons the premier Berlin show proved a huge success creating further excitement for the next instalment in the Apps World event series; Apps World North America, May 12-13. The show featured content covering a wide variety of topic areas including HTML5 & Mobile Web, Mobile Strategy & Marketing, Mobile Payments & Banking, TV & Multi-Screen Apps, Connected Car, Gaming Apps Development as well as Enterprise, Cloud and Developer Workshops and Droid Workshops. The five free to attend tracks proved a huge hit and were packed with developers on both days - with a huge turnout to see Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder, Apple (News - Alert) on the Developer World stage on April 22nd. Top level speakers from across the whole ecosystem came together to discuss the future of apps alongside Steve Wozniak including; Peter Molyneux, Founder, Lionhad Studios, Ian Livingstone, Co-Founder, Games Workshops and Ulrik Nehammer, CEO, Coca-Cola AG. Apps World hosted the Hackfest featuring Wincor Nixdorf and Blukii Wearables with first prize winners walking away with €2000 cash. Apps World Germany is the last in the Apps World event series to be organised by founders and events company; Six Degrees after six successful years with Informa (News - Alert) Telecoms and Media taking the reins for the continued growth and expansion of the series.
