JDA and Centiro Sign Global Alliance Agreement to Deliver More Profitable Omni-Channel FulfillmentJDA Software Group, Inc. and Centiro, the provider of cloud-based delivery management solutions, today announced a global alliance to jointly deliver their industry-leading retail supply chain management solutions. By extending JDA's supply chain execution solutions with Centiro's parcel management capabilities, customers can drive new efficiency from omni-channel fulfillment. The rise of omni-channel retailing is placing increased pressure on retailers' supply chain capabilities. Today's "right now" customer is dictating how and when they would like to receive goods, as well as how they would like to return them. Studies have shown that nearly one in two consumers would be deterred from shopping online with a retailer if they offered inconvenient fulfillment options (Retail Week, The Consumer 2014).
