ARLINGTON, Va., April 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CEB (NYSE: CEB), the leading member-based advisory company, today announced that it has partnered with CorpU, an education technology firm focused on the science of learning, to deliver learning and development offerings virtually as part of its growing ecosystem of technology and delivery partners.

This complements CEB's existing offerings by providing organizations with the choice of in-classroom, virtual or a blend of both learning options. Unlike traditional online learning, this approach adapts to the new work environment and offers employees a richer experience by combining innovative learning science with a technology platform to facilitate social and networked learning.

"Over the last 30 years, CEB changed the business of management advice," said Jesse Levin, executive director of corporate strategy and global development at CEB. "With CorpU, we are changing the business of corporate learning by harnessing multiple delivery models to provide employee development n a way that best suits today's work environment. We're now able to build learning communities that foster collaboration, whether employees are separated by five feet or a five-hour time difference."

CEB now offers its Finance, HR and Talent Advisor Leadership Academies in a virtual or blended format, leveraging the CorpU cloud-based, social learning platform and virtual community. Additionally, CEB's new Call-Center Supervisor Bootcamp is available in a purely virtual format, suited to meet the needs of a global base of participants.

"We know that network performance -- how well an employee improves the performance of others and how well that employee uses contributions from others to improve his own performance -- is a major factor in driving revenue and profit growth," said Alan Todd, CEO and founder of CorpU. "By delivering learning using a social, networked approach, we're making it easier for companies to organize global peer groups and build collaborative networks, tapping into the collective genius of the organization to solve critical business challenges and improve performance."

In addition to partnering with CorpU for virtual learning delivery, CEB maintains a minority investment in the company.
