About the Author
Betsy R. Rosenthal left behind a career as a civil rights lawyer to raise her three children and focus on writing. "An Ambush of Tigers" is her fifth book for children. In 2013 she received the Myra Cohn Livingston Award for Poetry from the Southern California Children's Literature Council.

About the Illustrator
Jago has been drawing pictures for a living since 2003, and with numerous awards under his belt, he thinks he might have got away with it. He has created illustrations for more than 40 books in the United States, the UK, Europe, South Korea and South Africa, which collectively have sold more than 1 million copies. He lives in Cornwall, in the UK, with his lovely wife and two delightful children.
