Irvine-California based Quality Systems Inc. Sued for Alleged Sexual Harassment and Retaliatory Firing in California Federal Court


Twelve days ago, in federal court in California, Irvine-based Quality Systems Inc. and its subsidiary NEXGEN Healthcare were sued by a former director of Research and Development for alleged retaliatory firing after she informed the company that she was being allegedly sexually harassed by the Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President to whom she reported. The plaintiff is being represented by Sharon Vinick of Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams LLPĀ and Patricia Pierce of Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores.

The court document alleges that QSI has a pattern of protecting male mployees who harass and discriminate against women. QSI, which employs 2,000 persons worldwide, develops and markets computer-based practice management, electronic health records and revenue cycle management applications as well as connectivity products and services for medical and dental group practices and small hospitals.
