SAN DIEGO, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New FCC requirements for E-911 support and Next-Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1), in conjunction with a recent CTIA initiative, highlight the benefits of Pluto Technologies' patent portfolio.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office issued US 8,484,381 encompassing 27 claims on July 9, 2013 and more recently published US 2014/0045481 A1 CIP, with a priority date back to May 5, 2003.

Pluto's Mobile Device Management System enables location sharing and tagging by utilizing a network of location beacons, providing location-aware connectivity for the sharing of hyper-relevant proximity data. Through the described approach, mobile devices and other users are identified and tagged to allow real-time management and allocation of available of location beacons, wireless network resources and relevant system parameters, including IP based networks or Internet-Protocol based devices. These techniques allow system enablers to provide innovative indoor location applications, as well as location awareness and proximity sharing as a few key features.
