Secure Exchange Solutions Achieves ONC ACB Certification for SES DirectSecure Exchange Solutions announced receipt of the ONC HIT 2014 Edition Release 2 Modular EHR certification for SES (News - Alert) Direct. This certification affirms that SES Direct offers the functionality required for our inpatient and ambulatory provider customers to comply with the recently expanded 2014 Edition health IT certification criteria announced by ONC that is focused on secure transports, specifically the §170.314(h)(1) criteria of Direct Messaging standard. Drummond Group conducted the testing and certification, naming Secure Exchange Solutions as one of the first newly certified products for this criteria. ONCs 2014 Edition Release 2 criteria decouples the creation of summary care content from the secure transport capabilities. With the certification, Secure Exchange Solutions can provide greater flexibility to providers and hospitals in achieving interoperability within their networks. SES Direct is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an
ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted
by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of
incentive payments.
No clinical quality measures were tested and no additional software
was used. Support for integration of this certified product-version with other ONC certified systems may require additional one-time license costs. Support and use of this certified product may require ongoing annual subscription costs to support Direct Protocol Transport with CCDA (170.314.h.1).
