Two Big Data Leaders Join Evariant Executive Team

Evariant, the leading provider of a CRM platform based on a centralized healthcare data hub, analytics, and communications engine, announced today that two market-leading executives, Matt Elson and Lars Ewe, have joined the company.

Elson and Ewe will work closely with CEO and Co-founder Bill Moschella to continue advancing Evariant's healthcare CRM platform and expanding the company's partner ecosystem. Elson has joined the company as executive vice president of the platform and partner business units, and Ewe has been named senior vice president of patform engineering.

"Matt and Lars bring extensive expertise in cloud-based infrastructure, big data, security, and channels and alliances," said Moschella. "I am delighted to add two individuals of this caliber to the Evariant executive team to lead our platform and partner initiatives."

Elson comes to Evariant from Cloudera where he was vice president of technology, OEM, and cloud alliances. He has more than 24 years of enterprise software experience and has worked at companies such as BEA Systems, Oracle (News - Alert), and Borland Software where he managed large global teams ranging from sales and marketing to product development. Additionally, he served as vice president of business and corporate development at Zend Technologies, a web infrastructure company.

"Evariant is changing the game for hospitals and health systems by providing a single enterprise platform that helps advance strategic decisions, patient care initiatives, physician engagement, and ultimately delivers a competitive advantage," said Elson. "I wanted to be part of an innovative team that is helping healthcare providers leverage data and analytics to deliver new ways that enable proactive health."

Ewe is also a technology industry veteran with more than 20 years of enterprise software and platform infrastructure experience. Prior to joining Evariant, he was vice president of engineering at Click Security, where he oversaw all engineering and SaaS operations around its big data security platform. Prior to Click Security, he was the chief security architect at National Instruments (News - Alert), and served in various executive roles at Cenzic, AMD, Borland, Oracle, and WebGain.

"Hospitals and health systems require a platform that is as scalable as it is secure," said Ewe. "I was drawn to Evariant because of the opportunity to apply my technology expertise to deliver a platform that will help healthcare providers leverage big data to make more informed decisions and actions."
