LifeLock Needs a Life Line: According to Tactical Rabbit's LifeLock Intelligence ReportTactical Rabbit, America's Private CIA, has issued an intelligence report on LifeLock (News - Alert), the Company to whom many trust their internet security is under scrutiny for defrauding their customers. LifeLock, Inc. is under investigation by the FTC (News - Alert) (Federal Trade Commission) and has previously agreed in 2010 to pay $11 million to the Federal Trade Commission and $1 million to a group of 35 state attorneys general to settle charges that the company used false claims to promote its identity theft protection services. <> Tactical Rabbit, a Closed Intelligence Network, investigated LifeLock through its due diligence process which yielded results that are indicative of a wide range fraud against the American public."Non-public information that we have obtained indicates that the United States Government will find LifeLock in violation of criminal law including but not limited to securities fraud." said Intelligence Director Everett Stern. Intelligence Director Everett Stern further comments, "We believe LifeLock has not simply made false advertising claims, but has criminally ascertained critical and sensitive information of its customers under false pretenses." Commenting on the intelligence operation, Stern stated, "Non-public information that we have been able to obtain on this issue, coupled with a sophisticated analysis of open sources by our subject matter experts, strongly support the intelligence reports stated analysis."
