Sharecare Named a TAG Top 10 Innovative Technology Company

Sharecare, a comprehensive digital health and wellness engagement platform, today announced that it has been named a Top 10 Innovative Company by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state's leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia's technology industry. TAG will recognize this prestigious group at the 2015 Georgia Technology Summit (GTS) this Wednesday, March 25, at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

The "Top 10" most innovative technology companies are chosen from among TAG's "Top 40" 2015 list and were chosen based on a number of criteria, including: degree of innovation; scope and financial impact of innovation; likelihood of success; and promotion of Georgia's innovative efforts nationally and internationally.

"The Top 10 awards are given to an elite group of companies whose products and solutions are not only changing their respective industries, they are also putting Georgia on the map as a state where technology innovation can thrive," said Tino Mantella, president & CEO of TAG. "We applaud each of these companies for standing out as leaders in Georgia's technology community and look forward to showcasing them at our annual Georgia Technology Summit."

At the 2013 Georgia Technology Summit, Sharecare's co-founder and CEO Jeff Arnold was inducted into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia, which was established in 1993 to recognize the achievements of outstanding members of Georgia's technology community. At Wednesday's Summit, Arnold will again take the stage, this time to deliver a brief presentation about Sharecare's recent innovations that contributed to its inclusion on the list, as well as his personal philosophy on what "being innovative" truly means.

"This year, the competition for Top 10 recognition was particularly fierce, with numerous qualified candidates across many sectors, including Health IT," said Dennis Zakas, a partner with Zakas & Leonard, LLP, chair of zinc. and founder and chair of the Top 40 Selection Committee. "One notable standout was Sharecare. We are delighted that Sharecare will be represented by Jeff Arnold, an inductee into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia. Summit attendees will hear from one of Georgia's most successful technology entrepreneurs, who continues to call Atlanta home, not only for his family, but also for the companies he creates."
