Columbus Consulting growth continued throughout 2014, and with the election of 6 new partners, the firm now represents over 600 years of retail executive experience.

The new partners include:

Alain Krakirian

Alain's experience includes leading Buying, Planning/Allocation, and e-commerce at True Religion Brand Jeans and as VP of Planning and Allocation at Hot Topic, where he led the function through the company's growth from 100 to 700 stores, the launch of e-commerce, and the new Torrid concept. Alain has also held leadership positions at babystyle.com, The Disney (News - Alert) Store, Kidsmart, and Clothestime.

Alain has extensive strategic and tactical business experience leading the Planning, Forecasting, Allocation and Replenishment functions at Omni-Channel companies. He has an in-depth knowledge of the apparel specialty segment - wholesale, retail and e-commerce - including fast-fashion.

Anne Gallutia

Anne is a retail software veteran with over 20 years of industry experience and over 18 years of experience with JDA Allocation. She has worked with various retailers and wholesalers on supply chain re-engineering projects where she has been a part of significant business process and systems projects for both domestic and international retailers. Anne has in-depth, hands-on subject matter expertise as well as product knowledge. She is equally effective in leadership roles, sophisticated project management, and software development.



Howard Barron

Howard brings over 30 years of retail leadership and C-level executive experience with a deep understanding in ERP selection, Merchandise Planning, Allocation and Replenishment, Omni-Channel Strategy and Operations, Store Management and Operations, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Supply Chain Management.


Prior to joining Columbus, Howard spent 10 years at Yankee Candle where he held the Executive Committee role of CIO. Howard developed and implemented a three-year IT Transformational Strategy to upgrade and replace all core systems for the organization. Also while at Yankee Candle, Howard created and led the retail planning and allocation teams and oversaw all inventory forecasting, planning, and control functions for the entire Omni-Channel enterprise as VP Corporate Inventory Control.

Bob Horner

Bob has over 30 years of experience in retail merchandising, consulting, and software implementation. He has experience implementing Merchandising, Forecasting, Planning, and Inventory Management applications. He has successfully assisted retailers develop big-picture long-term strategies encompassing the integration of Forecasting, Planning, Pricing and Inventory Management. Bob has also filled interim roles as Director of Pricing and IT Director for Planning.

Prior to joining Columbus, he held senior positions in retail and Consulting, including Pamida, Ames Department Stores, Caldor, Zayre Stores and The Hackett Group.

Tom McFadden

Tom has over 30 years of executive experience in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management.

Prior to joining Columbus Consulting in 2014, Tom was CIO of American Signature Furniture, representing 3 brands and also supporting other businesses within the Schottenstein Stores Corporation. He also held executive Information Technology positions at L Brands, Federal Express, and AT&T (News - Alert) (BellSouth).

Will Manzer

Will joined Columbus Consulting after over 35 years of experience in both retailing and manufacturing, where he has held senior leadership positions overseeing multiple functional disciplines. His passion and focus is on organizational and process solutions that will enable enterprise transformation to Omni-Channel commerce platforms.

Prior to joining Columbus, Will was the Chief Executive Officer at Eastern Mountain Sports and before that he was the President of Perry Ellis Menswear Company. He was EVP of Merchandising at the Perry Ellis Menswear Company also overseeing Design and Product Development, Merchandise Manager at Abercrombie and Fitch, and VP GMM for Dillard Department Stores.
