Mphasis Eyes Future with Launch of Mphasis Next LabsMphasis, a global technology company offering consulting, operations outsourcing and enterprise solutions, today announced its newest initiative, Mphasis Next Labs, the company's technology incubator dedicated to research and development. Mphasis Next Labs will concentrate on the company's focus areas, particularly disruptive business technology solutions. Mphasis Next Labs will be led by Dr. Jai Ganesh, who joins as a Vice President and Head of Mphasis Next Labs. Ganesh has extensive experience in inventing, conceptualizing, building and commercializing successful product and service innovations across SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud) areas. Ganesh also has extensive experience in IP creation, thought leadership, global academic collaborations and building world-class partner innovation ecosystems. He has four granted patents, over twenty patent applications and has published in a number of leading peer reviewed journals and conferences. An industry veteran, Ganesh was most recently with Cognizant Technology (News - Alert) Solutions where he was Director, Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud (SMAC) Solutions. In his role, Jai had leadership responsibilities across innovation, technology strategy, research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product development. He led the creation of the Customer Engagement Platform, which is a patent pending Big Data Analytics platform that transforms enterprise decision making. "The recent and dramatic growth of truly digital enterprises has created significant market opportunities in areas such as ambient Intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, mobility solutions and cross enterprise processes," said Dr. Ganesh.
