Over 2,000 Technology Companies Now Recruiting Talent with Hired.com as Company Quadrupled Revenue in 2014

SAN FRANCISCO, March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hired.com, a leading online marketplace that gives people more control over their career decisions, today announced that the company quadrupled its revenue in 2014, has facilitated over $6 billion dollars in job offers to top talent from around the world, and now has more than 2,000 companies engaging with candidates for career opportunities.

Hired gives candidates transparency and control over the process, making it the preferred way for developers and other in-demand talent to explore new opportunities. The company is experiencing extraordinary growth – someone finds a new job on the site every 30 minutes during the workday.

"We launched with 88 developers using Hired to run their job search. Today, we've helped well over ten thousand of the world's most talented workers take control of their career," said Matt Mickiewicz, co-founder and CEO of Hired. "We're growing that number rapidly, and are excited to help people in new cities and markets as we continue to expand."

Additionally, Hired is expanding its management team with the addition of Chief Marketing Officer, Tyler Willis.  Tyler is an experienced marketing technology executive who has a reputation for helping early stage startups become world-class businesses. He comes to Hired from Unified, the marketing system of record used by over 600 global advertisers and agencies. Previously, he ran Marketing and Brand Strategy at Involver (acquired by Oracle) and advised BranchOut on growth (acquired by Hearst).

"Hired is creating an incredible amount of value for people, many of whom rave about the experiences they've had on the site," said Willis. "Hired gives people more control over an important part of their lives, and I'm really excited to join the company and help evangelize our mission globally."

Here are some additional key growth milestones:

  • Grew candidate signups by over 75% month over month – Every month, more than 10,000 people create a Hired profile to prepare for looking at new job opportunities. Candidates are then reviewed for relevant experience and whether they are actively interested in a new position.
  • Increased approved candidates by 70% month over month – Hired only shows employer's candidates that are actively interested in a new role and have demonstrated the skills that the employer is looking for.

  • Expanded to new cities, now live in 9 markets – Now operating in 9 of the world's biggest technology hubs, Hired has already expanded into two new cities in Q1 2015.
