Empirix To Validate Secure Voice Transactions In End-to-End Environments With New Capabilities for IMS, Enterprise and Contact Center Networks

Enterprise Connect (News - Alert)--Empirix, Inc., the recognized leader in end-to-end network performance visibility with the unique ability to analyze customer behaviors by application in real time, today announced the launch of the Gen 6 Hammer Test System, a test automation platform comprised of the Hammer IP 6.0 and CallMaster 6.0. The Gen 6 platform will enable the development and reuse of flexible, comprehensive testing scripts while providing additional insights into the end-to-end customer experience in secure environments.

With the introduction of Gen 6, Empirix continues to deliver new functionality that clients can leverage in IMS, Call Center and IP telephony environments. These new features include:

• Encrypted communication support for Avaya (News - Alert) H.323 using SRTP, augmenting our existing support for SIP SRTP and generic H.323.
• Access to secure devices through secure shell (SSH) to obtain critical information at run time.
• Ability to integrate with third-party tools such as industry leading HP-ALM for test case management and execution.
• Enhanced testing of dynamic runtime behavior leveraging industry leading Nuance (News - Alert) just-in-time grammars. This enables clients to accelerate development, simplify testing efforts and reduce script maintenance costs.

New Gen 6 Hammer Test System capabilities enable wider and deeper testing in an even more efficient manner. It will be generally available in Q2 2015.
