Video Guidance Promotes Brian Groff and Dan Giesen to National Senior Management Positions


Brian Groff and Dan Giesen, both longtime employees of Video Guidance, have been promoted to national senior management positions. Video Guidance is one of the nation's premier video conferencing companies.

Groff will become vice president of sales, North America, and will be responsible for all sales and business development activities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Giesen will serve as vice president of operations, North America, and will oversee all video conferencing networks, infrastructures and call centers.

Groff and Giesen both have a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the ever-changing video conferencing marketplace.

Brian Groff - Vice President of Sales, North America
Groff joined Video Guidance in 1999 as the company's first salesperson, following 13 years of experience in the communications industry, with the last 15 in the video conferencing industry. Previously serving as director of sales, Groff has built an impressive track record in business development, helping lead the company to consistent revenue and profitability growth. His previous experience includes senior level sales positions at Aerotek (News - Alert) Corporation and Cotellignet Inc. Groff graduated from Hamline University with a BS degree in Business Management.



Dan Giesen - Vice President of Operations, North America
Giesen has worked for Video Guidance for 15 years, most recently as director of operations. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, covering ISDN networks, IP networks, phone systems, call centers, computer telephony integration and videoconferencing equipment and network infrastructure. Giesen has been able to close the gap between sales and engineering, managing the groups within the company that develop solutions, manage implementations, roll out user adoption and provide service Video Guidance's customers.

Along with various manufacturer certifications, he holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Minnesota State University - Mankato. He serves on the board of the Belle Plaine School District and SouthWest Metro Educational Cooperative.
