Introducing Connect - Inbox Marketer Announces Rebranding of Email Messaging Platform

GUELPH, ON, March 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Inbox Marketer, a leading Canadian email marketing and technology services company, announces the rebranding of its email platform "Connect" (previously named UMPIRE). It is also unveiling a number of platform enhancements to help marketers take their email programs to the next level.

In addition to the name change, Inbox Marketer has added new features to the Connect platform. A Restful API allows marketers to easily integrate a CRM or other external applications with the Connect platform; Email Behaviour Segmentation allows users to target their database based on opens and clicks, and Content Blocks let marketers present unique offers to contacts based on captured data.

Connect also includes two new platform extensions which enhance marketers' ability to reach and engage their customers. "Connect – Local" enables companies to control branding and offer creation at the head office, yet permit a level of sending autonomy at its branch, outlet or agency level. "Connect – Contest" lets users easily create a contest from start to finish, including setting up landing pages, emailing contest announcements, managing rules and regulations, and picking a winner.
