Pine Technical and Community College Led Consortium Successfully Launches Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) Software in Support of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grant (TAACCCT)

Social Solutions Global, the leading provider of performance outcomes software for workforce and education agencies in the public sector as well as among nonprofits, is proud to announce that the Rural Information Technology Alliance (RITA) consortium led by Pine Technical College has successfully gone live with Efforts-to-Outcomes (ETO) software.

RITA is a consortium of four colleges collaborating with allied workforce centers, industry partners, and IT employers to address the critical IT needs of rural areas which includes upgrading college programs, constructing career ladders, and removing barriers to TAA-eligible (Trade Adjustment Assistance) workers. RITA is supported by an $18 million consortium grant from the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program; a $2 billion dollar federal initiative aimed at expanding targeted training programs for unemployed workers.

Pine Technical and Community College leads the RITA consortium, which also consists of North Central Texas College (Gainesville, TX), Central Lakes College (Brainerd (News - Alert), MN) and Ridgewater College (Hutchinson and Willmar, MN). Each college in the consortium will be tracking TAACCCT-required data as well as participant progress toward employment and educational outcomes using ETO software.

"The Rural Information Technology Alliance will fill a critical gap in developing IT training resources and career opportunities for those unemployed and underemployed in rural communities," said Scott Johnson, CEO of Social Solutions. "We at Social Solutions are very excited to support the Alliance in this work as they join our many other college customers in becoming a model for successful collaboration between educational institutions and employers."

RITA's ETO system has been deployed ahead ofschedule thanks to the existing TAACCCT Performance Model, a research-based grant configuration of the software. This Performance Model is designed to help community colleges rapidly deploy efficient workforce programming to their TAACCCT program participants, while supporting evidence-based and DOL/TAACCCT-compliant practices. RITA will also benefit from Social Solutions' software add-on components such as Employment Scorecard, ETO Engage, ETO Portal, and Notification Engine. These additional features will be leveraged to drive both employer and participant engagement in service delivery.

"With over twenty years of experience in agreement negotiation, I found Social Solutions to be one of the easiest vendors to work with," said Michael Olesen, Director at Rural Information Technology Alliance.

Social Solutions Global, the creator of Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) software, is the leading provider of software solutions for workforce, education, and human services. ETO equips organizations to drive performance by demonstrating the usefulness of data at all levels, including to the funding community.
