Aquilent's Judy Cohen Wins Fed 100 Award

Aquilent, a recognized leading provider of Mobile, Web, Cloud and Portal solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the federal government, is proud to announce that Judy Cohen, Vice President, has been named one of this year's Federal 100 Award winners by Federal Computer Week. Cohen was recognized for her role in the successful re-launch of HealthCare.gov for Open Enrollment 2015.

Cohen and her team led a significant portion of HealthCare.gov support after the initial launch, and full life-cycle web development for the re-launch. She provided strategic guidance and oversight for a large portion of the re-launch and led the creation, architecture development, and security for CMS' first Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) hosting capability.

"I am thrilled to be recognized for our incredibly hard work on this project-and, to be clear, it was a team effort every step of the way," Cohen said. "Our highly dedicated and talented Aquilent team worked closely with our CMS customers to achieve project results."

The impact of the successful re-launch of HealthCare.gov has been felt nationwide; nearly 7.5 million consumers selected a plan or were automatically re-enrolled through the HealthCare.gov platform since Open Enrollment began November 15, 2014.

"We're proud of Judy's highly successful leadership role on such a far reaching and impactful project," said David Fout, Chief Executive Officer at Aquilent. "This award is another example of the level of commitment we make to our customers and to their success."

Cohen is Aquilent's second Federal 100 Award winner; Aquilent CTO Mark Pietrasanta was a Federal 100 Award winner in 2010 for his leadership role in cloud computing within the federal government, including his work with the GSA's (News - Alert) Office of Citizen Services (OCSIT) and USA.gov.

Profiles of this year's Federal 100 winners will be published in the March 30 issue of Federal Computer Week, following a Federal 100 Awards Gala on March 26, 2015.
