Flash Memory Summit Announces 2015 Call for Presentations

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Flash Memory Summit ("FMS"), the largest conference featuring flash memory and its applications, has released its call for presentations for the annual technical conference and exposition. FMS 2015 is August 11-13, 2015, in Santa Clara. More than 5,000 attendees are estimated.

FMS 2015 expects record attendance and experienced double digit growth for the last several years. FMS 2015 hosts over 110 exhibition booths from leaders such as EMC, SanDisk, Toshiba, IBM, HGST, LSI, Diablo Technologies, Micron Technology, and Marvell. The Best of Show contest and Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony is also scheduled. FMS 2014 had 4,500+ registrants and featured Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and NFL legendary 49ers tackle Bubba Paris.

FMS 2015 features a spectrum of experts from diverse industries such as consumer electronics, computers, networking communications, military/defense systems, automotive, industrial and process control, test equipment, and instrumntation. Proposal topics of interest include flash memory-based architectures, NVMe and PCIe SSDs, controllers and error-correction codes, enterprise SSDs, enterprise caching, enterprise applications, PCIe power budgets, virtualization, client caching, data centers, and PCIe storage.

Speakers are encouraged to submit the latest developments in flash memory, designing with the latest flash chips, using new tools for developing flash applications, latest market trends, new ways to replace disks in applications, new applications for non-volatile memory, and finding new methods for reducing power consumption.

Proposals are open to design, development, integration, marketing, use, or support of flash memory, or related hardware, software, or services.
