Siteworx received over 3,000 responses to a variety of questions regarding mobile shopping behavior. Google Consumer Surveys infers demographic and location-based information using a combination of respondent's IP address and cookies. Income and urban density are computed by mapping the location to census tracts. Gender and age group are inferred from the types of pages that respondents have previously visited based on cookies and Google's Display Network. This information is used to ensure that a representative sample of the US population responds to each survey question, based on the latest US Census Current Population Survey (CPS).
