You know, classmates, roommates, sorority and fraternity members. Angelo Tillman of Charlotte, N.C., is developing a new social media site that enables people to locate and connect with friends they've lost touch with as well as making it possible to create new friendships with folks all over the world.

It's www.greek-life.org, a new way to reconnect and make new friends. The mobile app enables you to access the site from anywhere and a special online translation tool makes it easy to communicate with people from foreign countries and different cultures. Live video chat is also available.

"You can start new groups with friends from all over the world," explains Tillman. "You have the ability topost events and have fun sharing pictures and videos for members of your group. Once you post an event, it will automatically be sent to all group members."

In addition, users can listen to music and play free online games (like chess, Sudoku, Candy Crush and 18 others) while they're surfing through the site.  You can post birthdays, new jobs, births, relocations to new cities and countries, marriages and more.

Plus, business owners can advertise their products and services to fellow Greek Life members and guests either in your local area – or worldwide. Posted ads will be seen by thousands of potential customers.

Thus far, Greek Life has attracted more than 100,000 registered members. The next step is an extensive marketing campaign, hiring a full-time IT staff and adding new features. Mr. Tillman estimates the minimum cost to be one million dollars.

In order to generate this funding, he has launched an Indiegogo campaign, which can be viewed at www.indiegogo.com/projects/greek-life. The campaign page includes a video that demonstrates how the site works.

With over 7 billion people in the world, just 100,000 people giving $10 meets the minimum, but all amounts are welcome. Memberships are free. Introductory memberships are offered through the Indiegogo site.

"We're looking to make Greek Life the premier social media site," says Tillman. "No donation is too large or small. If you contribute, you can become a part of the next Internet sensation."

Tillman can be reached directly at 704-605-3047 or via email.
