AlphaCipher Adds to Its Senior Management Team


AlphaCipher Acquisition Corporation (d/b/a"Vadium") (the "Company"), a leading provider of digital privacy, security and trust solutions, today announced the appointment of Cinthia Portugal, Scott Hazeltine and Bill Yakamovich to the Company's Senior Leadership Team. Mrs. Portugal will lead Vadium's marketing efforts bringing more than 15 years of marketing communications experience top consumer and enterprise brands including Microsoft (News - Alert), Xbox, Amazon Kindle, Cisco, Java, and Sun Microsystems. Mr. Hazeltine will run the overall accounting functions, financial reporting, human resources, and internal information technology network operations of the Company and brings extensive experience in strategic and operational project financial management, technology and business implementations, and accounting operations. Mr. Yakamovich will manage our global Sales Engineering Group and brings a tremendous amount of customer facing technical expertise in digital security industry having been active in all aspects of Information Technology and Information Systems since 1981, ranging from the development of security products to the management of security teams.

About Cinthia Portugal

Cinthia Portugal has 15 years of strategic marketing communications experience in international launches, new product and brand introductions, and media exposure for top consumer and enterprise brands including Microsoft, Xbox, Amazon Kindle, Cisco (News - Alert), Java, and Sun Microsystes. Most recently Cinthia was the corporate communications lead for SharePoint, the fastest-growing server product in Microsoft history. In this role she secured coverage that demonstrated the business opportunity that SharePoint provides to developers and partners while also expanding coverage into targeted media, and she created and launched an enthusiast engagement plan with the developer community that resulted in improved placements with the most influential community members. Prior to Microsoft, Cinthia Developed and managed strategic communications programs in support of Amazon's newest and fastest-growing business areas-Amazon Digital Media which included Amazon Kindle, Amazon MP3, and Amazon Video On Demand. While at Amazon Cinthia helped to launch consumer devices, applications, and services; Kindle 2, Kindle DX, Kindle Worldwide, Kindle for iPhone (News - Alert), Kindle for PC, Amazon Video On Demand HD, Amazon MP3 on Android and Amazon shopping applications for iPhone and BlackBerry. Cinthia's success has been achieved with a blend of her strategic, creative, and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to deliver expansive organizational goals with scarce resources. Cinthia received her BA in International Relations from San Francisco State University.



About Scott Hazeltine

Scott Hazeltine is responsible for the overall accounting functions, financial reporting, human resources, and internal information technology network operations of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he spent over nine years at Deloitte (News - Alert) Consulting LLP and left as the Seattle Office Manager of their Project Controller Practice, where he financially managed and supported a wide variety of projects, including International Oracle (News - Alert) implementations, large and small scale SAP implementations, Business Intelligence implementations, and various Strategy and Operations projects for large and small clients across the United States. Prior to Deloitte, Mr. Hazeltine worked at Holland America Line as the liaison for the accounting department when the company decided to implement a new computer system to manage all onboard ship operations. He also worked onboard Holland America Line's cruise ships as the finance officer, overseeing all financial reporting, cash managements and business operations of the vessels at sea. Mr. Hazeltine graduated from The University of Washington, with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.


About Bill Yakamovich

Bill Yakamovich currently serves as the Company's Vice President of Sales Engineering where he leads and manages the global Sales Engineer Group in support of sales and business development activities to enable privacy, security and trust solutions for our customers worldwide. Mr. Yakamovich has been active in all aspects of Information Technology and Information Systems since 1981, ranging from the development of security products to the management of security teams. Prior to Vadium, Mr. Yakamovich was a Solutions and Security Architect with SysJen Solutions where he was a pioneer developer in the application of biometrics, facial recognition and smart-card technologies and developed one of the first crypto smart-card protected laptops for Honeywell. Mr. Yakamovich was also a security practitioner at Unisys delivering enterprise class systems for fortune 500 companies. He has also served as Director Solutions Engineering for a southern California software company developing a suite of security products and as CTO/CSO for a start-up SMS marketing company. Mr. Yakamovich started his journey as a real-time software engineer developing ground station software for satellite systems and then moved into the high performance computing and security domains working with agencies like the NSA, BAH, IBM and Cray Computer. Mr. Yakamovich has written research papers for the Department of Defense and continues to develop white papers on Virtualization and Cloud Security. Mr. Yakamovich holds an associate degree in Computer Science, is CISSP trained, with formal education and experience in risk management, project management, incident response, TCP/IP forensics, penetration testing, intrusion detection, biometrics security, cryptography, identity management, virtualization and cloud storage and security.
