NantHealth Names Robert Watson as President

NantHealth, the transformational healthcare cloud-based IT company renowned for measurable progress in converging science and technology through a single integrated clinical platform, today announced the appointment of Robert (Bob) E. Watson as president. Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong remains chief executive officer.

Watson, has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry as a top executive, board member or advisor to numerous companies. Prior to joining NantHealth, he served as president and chief executive officer an director of Streamline Health Solutions, Inc., (Nasdaq: STRM) a strategic partner of NantHealth. During his four-year tenure at Streamline, Watson completed four acquisitions, and the company's market capitalization increased nearly 400% and revenues grew by more than 60%. He oversaw the growth in the number of health care facilities using the company's technology from 170 to over 800 and repositioned Streamline from a single solution content management company to a market leading, data-driven analytics company.

Earlier, Watson served as president and chief executive officer and a director of DocuSys, Inc., a leading provider of anesthesia information systems, and previously, was executive vice president of Business Development at Concuity, a healthcare division of Trintech, Plc. Before that, he served as president and chief executive officer and a director at Concuity, prior to its acquisition by Trintech, he was also corporate vice president, general manager and chief executive officer of IQHealth at Cerner (News - Alert) Corporation. Watson remains a director of Streamline and previously served as a director of Satori Labs, Inc. and Interpoint Partners, LLC.
