ObserveIT Announces Addition of Worldwide Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development and Regional Vice President of Sales, EMEA North

ObserveIT, the leader in user activity monitoring, announced today the appointment of Marc Potter, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Worldwide Business Development, and David Tredwell, who will be joining as Regional Vice President of Sales, EMEA North. This announcement is made in conjunction with the launch of the company's global partner program RAMP - Resellers, Alliance, and Managed Services Providers. The RAMP program rewards partners with increased margin, support, and commitment to promote overall growth of the ObserveIT business.

As Worldwide VP of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Marc Potter will focus on building and developing ObserveIT's partner and strategic alliance program. Potter brings over 20 years of experience in the security industry as an executive leader at several global high-tech companies. Most recently, he served as Americas sales leader at Dell (News - Alert) Software where he ran the security business unit focused on Identity Governance and Privileged Management. Mr. Potter joined Dell throgh the acquisition of Quest Software (News - Alert) where he held the role of vice president of security sales for the Americas.

With 17 years' experience in IT Security, David Tredwell, Regional Vice President of Sales, EMEA North, is a proven sales leader in both large enterprise and start-up organizations. Most recently he served as Managing Director - EMEA North for Qualys. Mr. Tredwell joined Qualys from Symantec (News - Alert) where he served as a Director of the Information Security Group.
