Sonitor Technologies Names Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe and Hans Thomas Holbye to Board of Directors


Sonitor Technologies, the global RTLS technology innovator, today announced that it has appointed Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe and Hans Thomas Holbye to its board of directors. Gilhuus-Moe and Holbye bring substantial global medical technology, business and finance experience to the Sonitor board.

A seasoned medical technologist and executive, Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe, PhD, trained at the Swedish Institute of Management, the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Oslo. He is the Chairman of the Board of Oslo Medtech, a group of hospital, finance, knowledge and research institutions focusing on medical technology innovation and facilitates development of medtech products and services. Gilhuus-Moe is also a Senior Advisor of NeoMed Management, a Europe-based venture capital fund focused on international healthcare and medical technology. In addition, he sits on the board of directors of JenaValve Technology, GmbH, and has served as a board member of Alertis Medical AS, Clavis Pharma ASA, Harbinger Medical, Inc. and NeoRad AS.

Previously, Gilhuus-Moe served as Chairman of the Board for both SINTEF-Unimed (Norweigian Institute of Technology) and The European Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standardization (ECCLS), as well as a member of the executive group, Vice President and Head of Hafslund Nycoed ASA's diagnostic division.



Hans Thomas Holbye earned an Msc Business and Administration degree from BI Norwegian Business School. He is the Managing Director and CEO of Johs. Hansen Rederi AS and previously served as Finance Manager at IBM (News - Alert) Norway and CFO and Head of the Investment Division of The Torvald Klaveness Group. Holbye sits on several Norwegian company boards.
