ZPE Systems Announces Support for Legacy KVM/IP and Adds New Power Management and UI Views


ZPE Systems® today announces support for legacy KVM-over-IP appliances in its flagship product NodeGrid Manager®. The vendor neutral NodeGrid Manager software solution simplifies management of both physical and virtual IT infrastructures including Compute, Network, Storage and Power devices.

"Our support for KVM over IP appliances allows IT directors to consolidate legacy and modern data center environments. There is no Software-Defined Infrastructure management solution on the market today that scales and delivers the same user experience across multi-vendor Physical and Virtual IT infrastructures like NodeGrid Manager does," said CEO and co-founder Arnaldo Zimmermann.

In addition, NodeGrid provides new power management capabilities by mapping Smart PDU outlets to managed devices. Users can turn numerous vendors' devices on or off at the outlet level from one interface.

In response to customer demand, NodeGrid includes new viewing options. Users can view managed devices via Geo Map, Node, Table, or Tree Views. The new views allow users to organize devices any way they like based on containers or natural language searches of any custom device properties.

System administrators and users find devices faster now with their preferred viewing modes, leading to faster problem resolution. "Data center clients using NodeGrid improve their efficiency, productivity and effectiveness when resolving problems, as well as reuce costs and downtime," said Zimmermann.
