AAMP of America Announces New President and CEO


AAMP of America is pleased to announce the appointment of David A. Klatt Jr. as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 7th, 2015. Current CEO Ron Freeman will remain at AAMP of America as Chairman. In this elevated role, Ron will focus on acquisitions, strategic partnerships and new channel development.

David joins AAMP of America after working in consumer products and electronics for the past 28 years. Recently he served as President of Newell Rubbermaid's global writing segment which consists of category leading brands such as Sharpie, Paper Mate, Expo and Dymo printers. Previously he held senior leadership roles in management, marketing and sales for Airclic, Black & Decker (News - Alert) and DeWalt Tools. He has actively served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement since 2004. David received a business degree from LeMoyne College and holds an International MBA from Georgetown University. David, his wife Sophie, and their son Trey will be relocating to AAMP's headquarters in the Clearwater, FL area.
