CFA Society San Francisco to Host 2015 Annual Forecast Dinner

CFA Society San Francisco will host its 10th Annual Forecast Dinner on January 21, 2015 at The Fairmont San Francisco.

The lineup of Nancy Wallace, professor of Finance and Real Estate and holder of the Lisle and Roslyn Payne Chair in Real Estate and Capital Markets at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business; Bill Gurley, general partner at Benchmark; and Arjun Divecha, head of GMO's Emerging Markets Equity team and Chairman of the GMO Board of Directors, is not to be missed. The combination of Wallace's expertise on real estate-both commercial and residential-as well as its interaction with the rates market, Gurley's unique view of the venture capital market and what's in store over the next year as well as Divecha's keen insight on emerging markets and how they are likely to be affected by the factors buffeting them is sure to make for an exciting conversation, which will be moderated by Bloomberg's (News - Alert) Cory Johnson. In celebration of our 10th Anniversary event, we will welcome Will Durst, comedian and satirist, for special pre-panel entertainment.

This year's event will be our largest ever, with more than 500 Bay Area finance professionals and a host of sponsors in attendance. This year, our Marquee sponsor is Bloomberg. Gold sponsors include Axioma, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, Franklin Templeton Investments, Kaplan Schweser, Invesco, Legato, TriNet and Upstart.

Limited sponsorship opportunities are still available. For information, contact CFASF Executive Director Maren Amdal, CAE, at 415.814.7904 or email [email protected].
