Energy Solutions International Names DYONYX L.P. as its Preferred Hosting Solution Partner

Energy Solutions International (ESI), a leading global provider of software and services to the oil and gas energy transportation and storage markets, has named DYONYX L.P., a leading global provider of hosted computing infrastructure and services, as its Preferred Hosting Solution Partner. The two companies will offer customers integrated services and support solutions to deliver ESI's (News - Alert) market-leading oil and gas pipeline and storage solutions via the DYONYX high performance cloud-based computing environment.

Solutions delivered through the hosted computing environment managed by DYONYX will include ESI's leading commercial applications already suited for hosting, including GasStream™, Synthesis® and PipelineDashboard™.

"With products like Synthesis and GasStream, ESI has been leading the way in developing web-based commercial applications for the oil and gas transportation and storage markets," stated Eric Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer for Energy Solutions International. "This includes solutions for gathering systems, processing plants, pipelines and terminals for both natural gas and liquids. The advanced architecture of these products gives us the ability to deliver them through the cloud from a hosted computing environment at DYONYX, offering our customers the enterprise-class solutions they need with outstanding performance, reliability and security at a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)."

Whether hosted or implemented on a company's own servers, ESI's customers have the option of utilizing these advanced web-based applications either through a traditional license agreement or through a monthly subscription offering. This provides customers with additional control over how they want to pay for the applications and whether they want to invest in their own back-office computing infrastructure or simply pay to have the applications and data managed for them by ESI and DYONYX.

"DYONYX is very pleased to be named the Preferred Hosting Solution Partner by Energy Solutions International," stated Chuck Orrico, President and CEO for DYONYX. "ESI and DYONYX have partnered together to develop and deliver a unique set of offerings that include ESI's market-leading commercial applications for the oil and gas industry worldwide utilizing our award-winning hosting environment and dedicated services.

"We know that companies in the energy transportation and oil and gas markets are moving their enterprise applications into cloud computing environments because it saves time and money while delivering better overall availability, performance and security. This trend is continuing to accelerate, and we're very excited to work with ESI as one of the premier application vendors in the global energy transportation markets to deliver the highly available, performant and secure computing environment ESI's customers require."
