ThousandEyes Releases Free Version of Award-Winning Network Performance Management Product

ThousandEyes, the company redefining network performance management, today announced the launch of ThousandEyes Lite, a free version of its award-winning product. ThousandEyes Lite brings the powerful visibility of application delivery performance to individuals and small teams and includes data for eighteen of the most popular software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) applications. Today's announcement enables anyone to use ThousandEyes for free and includes a 15-day trial of the full pro version of ThousandEyes.

"We've seen terrific traction from organizations of all sizes turning to ThousandEyes to gain visibility of end-to-end application and service delivery," said Mohit Lad, ThousandEyes CEO and Co-Founder. "From the beginning, our ambition has been to improve the network monitoring experience for everyone from individuals to large-scale teams. Providing a free version of ThousandEyes enables us to deliver on that objective."

Since launching in 2013, ThousandEyes has been recognized as a 'Cool Vendor' by Gartner (News - Alert); been named a 'Vendor to Watch' by Enterprise Management Associates; received the Network Innovation Award from TechTarget and was recently named a winner of the Barclays Technology Innovation Award. ThousandEyes Lite will enable individuals and small teams to gain detailed visibility of network performance both within the enterprise network and between their enterprise and cloud service prviders.

"As an application that's critical for customer service, we have to be on top of performance problems immediately," said Steve Loyd, VP Engineering Operations at Zendesk. "With ThousandEyes, we now instantly identify where the problems are along the network and collaborate with our hosting and network vendors, both areas where ThousandEyes easily outperforms every other solution we've tried."

ThousandEyes Lite, the free version of ThousandEyes, brings powerful network performance insights to everybody. It includes full visibility of internal or cloud-based application delivery from up to three locations anywhere within an organizations network environment. Also included are data feeds for eighteen of the most popular SaaS applications and web services, such as NetSuite, Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365, Salesforce, Workday, Facebook, Twitter and more. In addition, the expansion of vantage points from ThousandEyes Lite users will improve predictive analytics and diagnostic capabilities for all ThousandEyes users.

"ThousandEyes has been a pioneer creating valuable new network and application performance tools to support the use of today's network-accessed applications," said Peter Christy, Research Director, Networking at 451 Research (News - Alert). "The ThousandEyes free version enables a much bigger potential market to understand the kind of value ThousandEyes can provide in the best way possible -- by using it."
