KYOCERA Debuts New LCD Displays Featuring Advanced Wide View, Super High Brightness Technologies

Kyocera (News - Alert) today introduced two innovative new TFT-LCD displays that allow bright colors to be seen clearly even in intense sunlight - making them ideal for industrial applications including medical, aerospace, marine, test and measurement, and factory automation equipment.

Powered with Kyocera's Advanced Wide View (AWV) technology, the new displays achieve a wide, 85-degree viewing angle in all directions: left, right, top and bottom.

No additional components are required to drive the backlights, as Kyocera's LED driver circuit is integrated into both the 10.4" and 12.1" LCD modules.
