Engility Awarded Prime Position on $61 Million Contract to Provide Engineering Services to Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division


CHANTILLY, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:EGL) today announced it has won a $61 million single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide engineering services and related research, development, test and evaluation efforts in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).

Under this award, Engility will provide a range of engineering services for the functional organizations that support numerous Department of Defense weapons acquisition programs. These services will include: design studies and evaluations associated with research, development, production and operations. The work will also include the full spectrum of test engineering services, as well as transition engineering and related efforts to transfer new technology from concept to Fleet support. Additionally, Engility will provide support services required for the management of technical activities. Work will be performed at China Lake, California, Point Mugu, California and Patuxent River, Maryland.

This award, which represents new work for Engility, is a cost-plus-fixed-fee IDIQ contract and is expected to be completed in Decembe 2017.
