SynapSense® and Equinix Achieve $1.3 Million of Annual Energy Savings for Singapore Data CenterFOLSOM, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- SynapSense®, a Panduit company and leading provider of energy efficient data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions, today announced with Equinix that the Equinix (News - Alert) Singapore Data Center Project earned the prestigious Datacenter Dynamics (DCD) Asia Pacific award for "Improved Data Center Energy Efficiency." The Equinix SG1 data center achieved savings of more than 8 million kilowatt hours of energy, equivalent to over $1.7 million SGG and $1.3 million USD annually. The DCD Asia Pacific 2014 Awards, which recognize innovation, leadership and "out of the box" thinking, wer presented at a gala ceremony with over 250 senior industry professionals gathering to celebrate excellence across the datacenter industry in Singapore. The ceremony marked the end of Singapore Data Center Week 2014.
