The Ethernet Alliance, a global consortium dedicated to the continued success and advancement of Ethernet technologies, today announced the next event in its ongoing webinar series, "Ethernet 103: Introduction to 25 Gb/s Ethernet". The Ethernet 103 webinar will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10am PST, and is designed to provide attendees with in-depth insight into 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GbE), currently in development.

WHAT: The Ethernet 103 webinar will be presented by a panel of Ethernet industry experts, including IEEE 802.3 25Gb/s Ethernet Study Group Chair and Cisco (News - Alert) Senior Director of Engineering, Mark Nowell; Ethernet Alliance Chairman and Dell Chief Ethernet Evangelist, John D'Ambrosia; and Ethernet Alliance President and Brocade (News - Alert) Principal Technologist, Scott Kipp. Panelists will offer an introduction to the 25GbE speed, including potential markets, deployment architectures, standards, and more.

WHEN: Presented at 10am PST on December 11, 2014, the Ethernet 103 webinar includes a 45-minute presentation followed by a short Q&A period, and is free of charge for both Ethernet Alliance (News - Alert) members and the general public. The webinar will also be archived on the Ethernet Alliance website for future on-demand viewig.
