Spatial and Machine Research will partner to deliver secure, ITAR-compliant software that helps manufacturers mine and reuse their existing manufacturing knowledge, thereby increasing efficiency and streamlining workflows. The combination of a flexible business model and core 3D technology from Spatial gives Machine Research a powerful partner that will help sell its SaaS (News - Alert) products to manufacturers and opens new growth opportunities for Spatial's solutions. Machine Research will also leverage Spatial's 3D ACIS Modeler to help application developers more easily manipulate models they receive from designers. The combined companies' technologies give manufacturers the ability to more efficiently do cloud-based model translation, model healing, and preparation for CAM platforms use.
