Transition Networks to Present Key Carrier Ethernet Solution Innovations at MEF GEN14 Show in Washington DC

MEF GEN14 is a global Ethernet networking event for industry professionals involved in all aspects of state-of-the-art innovations powered by Carrier Ethernet, SDN, NFV and optical networking. The show enables attendees to share insights, learn about fresh ideas and see first-hand some of the latest service and technology developments.

The Transition Networks (News - Alert) team will be available in Booth #426 to demonstrate and discuss the features and benefits of its Carrier Ethernet product line innovations, which are optimized for business Ethernet and mobile backhaul deployments.

Tony LeFebvre, Transition Networks Director of Product Management, will be speaking in a panel session on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 3:35-4:25 p.m. The subject of the presentation is: "Simplifying & Accelerating SLA-Assured Ethernet with Automation & NFV."

In addition, Transition Networks will be one of six teams selected to participate in a live Proof of Concept Showcase designed to demonstrate leading-edge services and technologies that will shape the future of global networking. The Transition Networks/Amartus team will exhibit a rapid, agile environment to orchestrate and automate the provisioning and operation of a physical and virtualized CE 2.0 Ethernet network. Using MEF CE 2.0 standards, Transition Networks/Amartus will use tablet computers to remotely provision, protect and define services via a network of CE 2.0 Network Interface Devices (NIDs) in just minutes and without the need for trained technicians.
