Experienced marketer to drive Stellar Library sales [Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates)]

(Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Experienced international marketer Dave Andrew has been appointed as General Manager – Acquisitions of software developer Stellar Library as part of the company's plans to take the New Zealand-developed product to the global market place.

Stellar Library, a cloud-based content management system for iPads, allows organisations to manage their own private organisation library on a secure delivery platform and is used by organisations such as educational institutions, local government, and companies needing secure distribution and management of confidential information.

Mr Andrew has worked for the past five years as National Marketing Manager for top-10 building company Generation Homes. He has previously worked in international marketing roles for companies such as Goldair and Blockbuster Corporation and in senior brand management roles for Coca Cola and Citibank in Latin America.

"Stellar Library is another opportunity for New Zealand-developed software to show we can compete on the global stage, especially as the iPad is now well-established as an important business tool," Mr Andrew says.

"The Apple eco-system is huge internationally and Stellar Library already has a credible presence in this space.

"While there are a raft of clunky online file sharing solutions such as Dropbox, Microsoft's OneDrive and Google Drive that can provide secure storage for files, they don't provide the level of control of the information, access and simplicity that Stellar Library does." Mr Andrew says while it can be challenging and expensive to promote products internationally from a New Zealand base, the internet provides an ideal platform to help overcome these challenges.

Stellar Library has received an injection of cash from well-known investor Andrew Bagnall to assist with the company's sales and development plans.
