CPYB names new CEO [Kuwait News Agency](Kuwait News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Wednesday announced that Nicholas Ade is the ballet school's next CEO, effective immediately. Ade will take over for Alan Hineline who resigned earlier this year in June when he went to take a job as the CEO with Ballet San Jose. Hineline was with CPYB for 19 years, five of which were as the school's CEO. Ade joined CPYB in 2012 as the school principal and has been serving as interim executive director since August. Ade led the expansion and formalization of the men's dance training program at the school, which quadrupled male enrollment to 44 male students. Under his leadership, CPYB also introduced the Male Scholarship Program. "After conducting a national search we are confident in our decision to appoint Nicholas Ade CEO," CPYB Board President Hugh Aberman said on behalf of the board in a statement. "From the minute he joined CPYB as school principal he embraced our vision. He understands and promulgates (Marcia Dale) Weary's renowned teaching method. He values the promotion and acquisition of life skills crucial to a child's successful development. And, during his tenure as interim executive director, he demonstrated the leadership skills, artistic integrity, and business acumen we were looking for in our next leader." "When I first came to CPYB as school principal, it didn't take long for my family and me to realize this is where we wanted to call home," Ade said in a news release. "And, as my love for the organization has continued to grow, so has my family's happiness with this region. "I am excited to begin this new position and build upon our past successes for an even more successful future for CPYB," he added. "I am proud to be part of an organization that has a stellar national and international reputation for turning out students who go on to great success in life, whether it be on or off the stage." Ade said his immediate goals are to improve efficiencies in communications and production, and will focus on augmenting students' education with information and skills that will help them stand out and succeed in their field.
