GOOGLE PITCHES IN TO MAKE INTERNET GO DESI(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Google has launched the Indian Language Internet Alliance (ILIA) on 3 Nov 2014. The alliance consists of ABP News, Amar Ujala Publications, C-DAC, DB Digital, Firstouch, HinKhoj, Jagran Prakashan, LinguaNext Technologies, NDTV and Network 18. Google India provides its search engine and applications in nine Indian languages. ILIA is expected to build Indic language content for new Internet users. |
