Manufactured by the GAC Motor of China, the GS5 Trumpchi available in Nigeria currently is 2.0-litre engine and the flagship brand of the Chinese automaker. Addressing journalists recently at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Conference Centre, Ibadan, where a test drive of the vehicles all the way from Lagos climaxed, the sales and marketing director of CIG Motors, Mr Kayode Adejumo, disclosed that the exercise was the first major attempt by his company to formally unveil the GAC brands in grand style as a way of getting Nigerians and prospective customers gain insight into the unique selling points of the brand.
