This report discusses the performance of the EU's top data center suppliers as identified and detailed in our first Q2 2014 report. As before, the market valus given here are made up exclusively of four elements: infrastructure software, servers, storage systems and enterprise networking. These values are given in their entirety, rather than broken down only to those used in data centers themselves.

IT services, including hardware maintenance, telecoms service, application software and internal staff spending, are not covered in this report, though each is important to the data center market. Despite the limitations of these definitions, the tangible markets measured are a good proxy for IT spending in EU data centers. Exchange rates for the euro and pound sterling used in this research are given in table 4 of last month's study.
