Viva Bahrain launches fixed voice solutions to businesses [TeleGeography CommsUpdate](TeleGeography CommsUpdate Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Bahrain's third-largest mobile operator Viva has launched new fixed voice services for businesses, it announced yesterday. The Saudi Telecom Company (STC)-owned cellco now offers 'fast, secure and efficient connectivity' to private business exchanges (PBX) and unified communication systems, intending to support voice, video and conference service needs, while allowing businesses to save costs and use dedicated voice capacity via high quality technology. Viva has teamed up with ICT providers throughout the country to offer the end-to-end solutions; businesses may either connect their existing unified communication systems to Viva's network or add a new PBX, with services able to be delivered over digital ISDN PRI or IP-based (SIP Trunk) connections.
