|
|
In order to reach a highly mobile and diverse customer base,
financial institutions are expanding their online assets at an
accelerated pace. With websites and mobile apps proliferating, it
is becoming increasing difficult to monitor, manage and police
them for the presence of malware and other threats. In this
session, web security expert Elias Manousos will discuss how
attackers are exploiting financial services brands to distribute
malware on their websites and seed mobile app stores with copycat
apps. He will explain how this shift in the online threat-scape is
putting both financial services organizations and their customers
at risk of fraud and data threat. Mr. Manousos will also present
findings from a survey of CISOs to illustrate what steps can be
taken to monitor, detect and remediate threats and brand
infringement.
