Finland : NOKIA tests new software to enhance performance of 3G network [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nokia Networks has carried out the first live network trial of a software feature that enhances smartphone performance on 3G networks. Nokia High Speed Cell FACH lessens smartphone-generated network signalling by up to 80 percent, increases response time by up to 65 percent, attains up to 20 percent faster browsing and facilitates up to 40 percent in power savings. The tests were performed on the commercial 3G/HSPA network of a major European operator with test devices having Qualcomm Snapdragon processors that support High Speed Cell FACH.
