Jean Black Appointed to Board of Directors of Sustainable Energy Fund [Mehr News Agency (Iran)]


(Mehr News Agency (Iran) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ms. Black is a licensed Master Electrician since 2003 with a wealth of knowledge and experience in lighting energy conservation measures and lighting project design and management. Ms. Black is currently employed by The Tri-M Group, LLC, as an Estimator. Tri-M is one of the largest electrical solutions companies in the Northeast, headquartered in Kennett Square, PA; with other offices in Allentown, Clarks Summit and Lock Haven, PA, as well as Delaware and Maryland.



From 2002-2011 she supervised electricians' safe NFPA/NEC compliant installations for 50 PPL commercial facilities. Ms. Black is also Lighting Certified (LC) from the national council for qualification of lighting professionals (NCQLP) and has obtained awards for her professional accomplishments. Ms. Black has been active with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) for over 20 years, during this period she sat on numerous committees and held various titles including Director for the international Board of Directors. She has also been active in Drexel University LeBow Strategic planning committee and alumni council, the DOE/EPA solid state lighting CaliPER. Guidance committee and volunteered over 500 hours of mentoring in the Child and Family Mentoring Program at Community Services for Children.

Ms. Black has an MBA from LeBow College of business, Drexel University and a BFA Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University.


Sustainable Energy Fund is a nonprofit organization that assists energy users in overcoming financial, educational and regulatory barriers to a sustainable energy future. Sustainable Energy Fund provides a variety of services including financing energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy projects; educating the leaders of today and tomorrow to create a passion for sustainable energy; and representing the interests of energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy in proceedings before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
