UDP Technology Chooses Leading-Edge Panomorph Lens to Offer Wider Views in Latest 3MP IP CameraMONTREAL, Quebec --(Business Wire)-- ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens and worldwide expert in immersive optical technology, announced today that the new 3MP 360° Panomorph IP Camera from UDP (News - Alert) Technology is certified ImmerVision Enables®, the leading 360-degree video standard. UDP has chosen panomorph for its IPN2103HD-6611 camera series. This lens provides targeted distortion magnification on the periphery and an elliptical footprint on the sensor. This combination offers greater coverage and clarity, compared to other wide-angle devices. According to Louis Kim, Senior Product Manager at UDP Technology, "The IPN2103HD-6611 camera can be set to achieve full HD 2048x1536 video resolutions with up to 14 fps, while offering more efficient H.264 and MJPEG video compression to reduce network load.
