Teleperformance Nordic boosts its Information Security

(Cision Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Stockholm, 22 October 2014 - Teleperformance Nordic in Sweden, part of Teleperformance Group, successfully attains the International Organization for Standardization certification (ISO 27001) for Information Security Management. In addition to Teleperformance Nordic’s already robust information security practices and other external certifications such as PCI/DSS, the ISO 27001 will strengthen the company’s focus on data security in Sweden.

“Protecting information and focusing on ensuring that all sensitive data is secured both internally and for all our customers is a top priority for us and our partners, especially in an age when there is a high volume of private information being communicated over the internet,” said Mikael Kiltorp, CIO, Teleperformance Nordic. “We always strive for being the most professional and secure business partner for all clients. This certification demonstrates our commitment in enforcing stringent security controls with a focus on data safety for our clients.” With the growing pressure on companies to comply with information security demands, choosing a partner able to meet strict regulatory standards is an integral factor particularly within the banking, financial, and retail sectors.

Teleperformance Group’s multiple award winning security practices has been recognized and was the first company in its industry to receive recognition from Frost & Sullivan for information security.
