Is My Phone Getting Android 5.0 Lollipop? [Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia)]

(Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Our craving for the sweet stuffs has surely gone tenfold ever since Android 5.0 Lollipop was announced last week. Not only will it bring new features as with every OS update, but it comes with a beautiful design overhaul known as Material Design that takes Android up a notch in its battle with iOS. Naturally, this is the one of the most anticipated update ever in the history of Android.

But, you already know what Android is all about. Not all Android devices are going to get the update at the same. Some very soon, some later and some never at all. It's a roller-coaster ride for those who do not own a Nexus device which is guaranteed the update and the fastest rollout.

Good news is, some major phone makers have come out and announced the availability of Lollipop for their devices. While they may not get it as early as the Nexus lineup, they will be the next in line.

See if you are one of the "early birds." Other major companies like Samsung and LG have been quiet on the subject but rest assured that their flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3 are shoe in for 5.0.

Android Lollipop is now in the final stages of development and will be unleashed worldwide beginning in November. The newly-unveiled Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will be the first to come shipped with it.
